Opinion of the Advocate General

Mr Advocate General Darmon delivered his Opinion on 14 December 1988. He proposed that the Court should rule that:

Electronic apparatus which fulfils functions of checking and monitoring electronic components by measuring electrical quantities does not fall under subheading 90.28 A II (a) but subheading 90.28 A II (b) provided that no other major function of the apparatus justifies its classification under another heading.
