2 None of the other language versions contains a word corresponding to the advert) inevitably in the English version.

3 The English text of Article 6 is garbled, but it is clear from the other language versions that this is intended to be its effect. It is wholly unacceptable that Community legislation should be published in a form in which it is simply unintelligible without reference to other language versions.

4 The English text of the first indent of Article 1(1) uses the word telecommunication in the singular, but it is clear from the other language versions that the definition relates to the term telecommunications organizations used elsewhere in the directive.
