Having regard to the above application lodged on 6 August 2020,

Having deliberated, decides as follows:

FACTS AND PROCEDURE

The applicant, Mr Luca Bolognesi Guelfi, is an Italian national, who was born in 1975 and lives in Ferrara.

The applicant complained under Article 6 §§ 1, 2 and 3 (d) and Article 13 of the Convention in relation to some wording in a police report which he considered prejudicial to him.

On 29 July 2023, the applicant informed the Court that he wanted to withdraw his application.

THE LAW

In the light of the foregoing, and in the absence of any special circumstances regarding respect for the rights guaranteed by the Convention or its Protocols, the Court, in accordance with Article 37 § 1 (a) of the Convention, considers that it is no longer justified to continue the examination of the application.

In view of the above, it is appropriate to strike the case out of the list.

For these reasons, the Court, unanimously,

Decides to strike the application out of its list of cases.
