Nr 18 Överenskommelse med Bosnien och Hercegovina om vilka överenskommelser mellan Sverige och f. d. socialistiska federativa republiken Jugoslavien som skall fortsätta att gälla i förhållande till Bosnien och Hercegovina Stockholm den 20 oktober 1999 och 5 maj 2000
Vid underhandskontakter mellan representanter för utrikesdepartementen i Sverige och Bosnien och Hercegovina har en genomgång gjorts av vilka överenskommelser mellan Sverige och f. d. Socialistiska federativa republiken Jugoslavien som skall anses vara fortsatt giltiga i förhållande till Bosnien och Hercegovina. Regeringen beslutade den 4 maj 2000 att ingå överenskommelse i form av skriftväxling.
Överenskommelsen trädde i kraft den 5 maj 2000.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden and has the honour to inform of the following:
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina notifies that it is agreed that the following treaties from the list A in the Promemoria No. HP 77 Ebh of June 23, 1999, which were in force between the former SFRY and the Kingdom of Sweden remain in force between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Kingdom of Sweden: – Convention on Social Security, with Protocol to the Convention and Agree-
ment on Implementation of the Convention, March 30, 1978, – Agreement on Mutual Protection of Investments, November 10, 1978, – Convention for the Avoidance of Double Taxation with respect to taxes on
income and capital, with Protocol, June 18, 1980.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina further notifies that it is agreed that the following treaties from the list B) Confidential Agreements in the above mentioned Promemoria, also remain in force between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Kingdom of Sweden: – Agreement on the Protection of Classified Information Related to Defence

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden the assurances of its highest consideration.

Bosnien och Hercegovinas utrikesministerium betygar Konungariket Sveriges utrikesdepartement sin högaktning och har äran att meddela följande.
Bosnien och Hercegovinas utrikesministerium får meddela att det är överenskommet att följande fördrag upptagna i lista A i promemorian nr HP 77 Ebh av den 23 juni 1999, som gällde mellan f. d. Socialistiska Förbundsrepubliken Jugoslavien och Konungariket Sverige skall fortsätta att gälla mellan Bosnien och Hercegovina och Konungariket Sverige. – Konvention om social trygghet med protokoll och tillämpningsöverens-
kommelse av den 30 mars 1978. – Överenskommelse om ömsesidigt skydd av investeringar av den 10 no-
vember 1978. – Konvention för undvikande av dubbelbeskattning beträffande skatter på in-
komst och förmögenhet med protokoll av den 18 juni 1980.
Bosnien och Hercegovinas utrikesministerium får vidare meddela att det är överenskommet att följande fördrag upptagna i lista B, förtroliga fördrag, i den ovannämnda promemorian även skall fortsätta att gälla mellan Bosnien och Hercegovina och Konungariket Sverige. – Avtal om skydd av sekretessbelagd information om försvarsprojekt av den
25 januari 1984. – Skuldkonsolideringsavtal i Parisklubben av den 1 februari 1985 enligt pro-
tokoll av den 22 maj 1984. – Skuldkonsolideringsavtal i Parisklubben av den 6 februari 1986 enligt pro-
tokoll av den 24 maj 1985. – Skuldkonsolideringsavtal i Parisklubben av den 17 mars 1987 enligt proto-
koll av den 13 maj 1986. – Skuldkonsolideringsavtal i Parisklubben av den 22 december 1988 enligt
protokoll av den 13 juli 1988.
Bosnien och Hercegovinas utrikesministerium tar detta tillfälle i akt för att ånyo betyga Konungariket Sveriges utrikesdepartement sin utmärkta högaktning.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and has the honour to refer to the Ministry’s note of 2 August 1999 with the following wording:
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden – – – the assurances of its highest consideration.”
The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden has the honour to inform the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina that the Government of the Kingdom of Sweden has arrived at the same conclusion as regards those agreements which remain in force between the Kingdom of Sweden and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Your Ministry’s note and this affirmative reply thus constitute a joint confirmation that the Agreements mentioned above remain in force between the Kingdom of Sweden and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Konungariket Sveriges utrikesdepartement betygar Bosnien och Hercegovinas utrikesministerium sin högaktning och får hänvisa till ministeriets not av den 2 augusti 1999, som har följande lydelse:
”Bosnien och Hercegovinas utrikesministerium betygar Konungariket Sveriges utrikesdepartement sin högaktning – – – sin utmärkta högaktning.”
Utrikesdepartementet har äran meddela Bosnien och Hercegovinas utrikesministerium att Sveriges regering har kommit till samma slutsats om vilka fördrag som skall fortsätta att gälla mellan de båda länderna. Ministeriets not och denna bekräftelse utgör därför en gemensam bekräftelse på att de nämnda fördragen skall fortsätta att gälla mellan de båda länderna.
Konungariket Sveriges utrikesdepartement tar detta tillfälle i akt för att ånyo betyga Bosnien och Hercegovinas utrikesministerium sin utmärkta högaktning.
