Nr 59 Säkerhetsskyddsavtal med Västeuropeiska unionen Bryssel den 18 mars 1997
Regeringen beslutade den 6 mars 1997 att underteckna avtalet. Före undertecknandet avgav Sverige en förklaring beträffande artikel 1.4 i avtalet, vilken innebär att Sverige tolkar avtalet så att svensk rätt (tryckfrihetsförordningen och sekretesslagen [1980: 100]) skall tillämpas vid bedömningen av vilka uppgifter som kan lämnas ut i de dokument som Sverige kommer att mottaga från VEU. Avtalet trädde i kraft den 17 april 1997.
