De stater som är parter i konventionen om upprättande av en europeisk organisation för utnyttjande av m eteorologiska satelliter (E U ­ M ETSA T), vilken öppnades för u nderteck­ nande i G enéve den 24 maj 1983 (nedan kal­ lad ” konventionen” );

som önskar fastställa privilegier och im­ m unitet enligt artikel 12 i konventionen;

som bekräftar att syftet med de privilegier och den im m unitet som anges i d etta proto­ koll är a tt säkerställa ett effektivt fullgörande av EU M ETSA T; s officiella verksam het;

har kom m it överens om följande:
