Strasbourg den 24 november 1983

Regeringen beslöt den 25 augusti 1988 att ratificera konventionen och att utse utrikesdepartementet till en central myndighet. Ratifikationsinstru­ mentet deponerades den 30 september 1988 i Strasbourg. Konventionen trädder i kraft för Sverige den 1 januari 1989.

Artikel 20 Europarådets generalsekreterare skall un­ derrätta Europarådets medlemsstater och varje stat som har anslutit sig till denna kon­ vention om a) undertecknande; b) deponering av ratifikations-, godtagan­ de-, godkännande- eller anslutningsinstru­ ment; c) dag för konventionens ikraftträdande enligt artiklarna 15, 16 och 17; d) andra åtgärder, notifikationer eller med­ delanden som rör konventionen.

Till bekräftelse härav har undertecknade, därtill vederbörligen befullmäktigade, under­ tecknat denna konvention.

Upprättad i Strasbourg den 24 november 1983 på engelska och franska, vilka båda tex­ ter äger lika vitsord, i ett enda exemplar, som skall deponeras i Europarådets arkiv. Euro­ parådets generalsekreterare skall översända bestyrkta kopior till vatje medlemsstat i Eu­ roparådet och till vatje stat som har inbjudits att ansluta sig till denna konvention.
