REGULATION (EEC) No 1478/71 OF THE COMMISSION

of 12 July 1971

amending the Annex to Regulation No 225/67/EEC as regards the coefficients of equivalence for colza and rape seed

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COM­ Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation MUNITIES, are in accordance with the Opinion of the Management Committee for Oils and Fats : Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community ; HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION :

Having regard to " Council Regulation No Article 1 136/66/EEC1 of 22 September 1966 on the establishment of a common organisation of the Part A of the Annex to Regulation No 225/67/EEC market in oils and fats, as last amended by shall be amended as follows : Regulation ( EEC ) No 2554/702 ;

Having regard to Council Regulation No Coefficient of equivalence 115/67/EEC3 of 6 June 1967 laying down criteria for Amount Amount to be to be determining world market prices for oil seeds and deducted added from the fixing the frontier crossing point, and in particular price to the price (u.a./ 100 kg) Article 7 thereof; (u.a. /100 kg) A. Colza and rape seed Seed from Canada 0 02 Whereas Article 3 of Commission Regulation No Seed from Sweden 0 02 225/67/EEC4 / of 28 June 1967 on detailed rules for Seed from Poland ' 01 6 determining the world market price for oil seeds, as Seed from Denmark 014 last amended by Regulation (EEC ) No 1382/70,5 provides that, where the offers and quotations used Seed from other European territories 019 relate to a quality other than the standard quality for which the target price was fixed, they must be adjusted on the basis of the coefficients of Article 2 equivalence shown in the Annex;

This Regulation shall enter into force on the day Whereas it appears that the quality of colza and rape following its publication in the Official Journal of the seed delivered by exporting countries during the European Communities. 1970/71 marketing year differs in certain respects from the quality used when the coefficients of equivalence were determined ; whereas the coefficients shown in the Annex to Regulation No This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and 225 /67/EEC for these seeds from those countries directly applicable in all Member States. should therefore be amended ;
