REGULATION (EEC) No 1615 /74 OF THE COUNCIL of 25 June 1974 amending Regulation (EEC) No 950/68 on the Common Customs Tariff

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES, Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community, and in particular Article 113 thereof; Having regard to the proposal from the Commission ; Whereas Council Regulation (EEC) No 950/68 (*) of 28 June 1968 on the Common Customs Tariff, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 664/74 ( 2 ) lists, under subheading 85.21 D , diodes, transistors and similar semi-conductor devices and electronic microcircuits ; whereas these articles are subject to a conventional duty of 17% ; Whereas for commercial policy reasons the conventional duty applied to articles falling within subheading 85.21 D in the form of wafers not yet cut into chips should be reduced ; whereas Regulation (EEC) No 950/68 should therefore be amended ,

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Article 1 In the Annex to Regulation (EEC) No 950/68, subheading 85.21 D shall be amended to read as follows : Rate of duty CCT heading Description Autonomous conventional No % %

Article 2 This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 July 1974.
