REGULATION (EEC ) No 668/75 OF THE COUNCIL of 4 March 1975 amending Regulation No 359/67/EEC on the common organization of the market in rice

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES , circumstances ; whereas, consequently, the principle of a discretionary refund should replace that of a Having regard to the Treaty establishing the compulsory refund ; whereas it no longer appears European Economic Community, and in particular necessary to grant a refund for the production of Article 43 thereof; broken rice for use by the brewing industry in the manufacture of beer, Having regard to the proposal from the Commission;

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION : Having regard to the Opinion of the European Parliament; Article 1 Having regard to the Opinion of the Economic and Social Committee ; Article 9 ( 1 ) of Regulation No 359/67/EEC shall be replaced by the following : Whereas Article 9 of Council Regulation No ' 1 . A production refund may be granted for 359/67/EEC (*) of 25 July 1967 on the common broken rice used in the manufacture of starch .' organization of the market in rice, as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 476/75 (2 ), provides for a production refund for broken rice used by the Article 2 starch industry for the manufacture of starch and by the brewing industry for the manufacture of beer ; whereas in the light of experience, the granting This Regulation shall enter into force on of this refund does not seem necessary in all 1 September 1975 .

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
