COUNCIL REGULATION ( EEC ) No 3720 / 85 of 20 December 1985 amending for the fourth time Regulation ( EEC ) No 1 / 85 fixing, for certain fish stocks and groups of fish stocks, provisional total allowable catches for 1985 and certain conditions under which they may be fished

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES , Whereas available scientific opinion permits the increase of the 1985 total allowable catch for plaice stocks in Division VII f and g ; Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community , Whereas , taking into account the latest information concerning the availability and geographical distribution of Having regard to Council Regulation ( EEC ) No 170 / 83 of monkfish and megrim , it is necessary to modify certain 25 January 1983 establishing a Community system for the total allowable catches and the allocation of the quotas conservation and management of fishery resources 0 ), and available for each Member State between the ICES in particular Article 1 1 thereof, sub-areas ,

Having regard to the proposal from the Commission , HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION :

Whereas under Article 3 of Regulation ( EEC ) No 170 / 83 it Article 1 is incumbent upon the Council to fix the total allowable catches by stock or group of stocks , the shares available to The figures relating to plaice of Division VII f and g and to the Community and the specific conditions for taking those monkfish and megrim in Annexes I and II to Regulation catches; whereas under the terms of Article 4 of that ( EEC ) No 1 / 85 are hereby replaced by those set out in Regulation , the shares available to the Community is Annexes I and II respectively to this Regulation . allocated among the Member States ;

Article 2 Whereas Regulation ( EEC ) No 1 / 85 ( 2 ), as last amended by Regulation ( EEC ) No 2756 / 85 ( 3 ), fixes for certain fish This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its stocks and groups of fish stocks , provisional total allowable catches for 1985 and certain conditions under publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities . which they may be fished ;

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States .
